This fine Scottish Baronial Hall is most famous for its connections with the celebrated poet Robert Burns. Robert Burns wrote many of his well known works whilst staying at Friars Carse.

Leave the a74 Gretna Turnoff for the a75. Follow the a75 until you reach a Large Roundabout with a bridge then turn off on to the a76 for Kilmarnock. Follow the a76 for 5 Miles and shortly you will reach Courthill Caravan Park on your left. Signal right at this point and Friars Carse is 10 yards on the right.
