The Days Inn Charnock Richard has great access to the area’s major roads and is a great place for a rest stop on the way north to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland.

All of the comfortable and well-equipped en suite rooms have 21-inch TVs, trouser presses and tea/coffee.

The bar is open from 18:00 every day. The restaurant (open Monday to Saturday) serves meals and snacks such as steaks, scampi and toasted sandwiches. Fresh ground coffee is also available.

A full cooked English breakfast is served until 10:00 each morning.

The Lodge is located on the north bound side of the motorway. There is a barrier system (council directive) in place, which allows us to give guests a token, allowing them to have access to the south bound during their stay and on departure. If you are travelling from the North, you should drive 1 mile past the motorway service area and come off at Junction 27, go around the roundabout and rejoin northbound, travelling for approximately 1 mile. You then come off at the service area and the Lodge is on your left with its own CCTV Car park. Guests wishing to continue their journey south can pick up a barrier token on departure enabling them to continue southbound. Our 24 hour reception team will be happy to help if you have any queries at all.
